Eli
I got a solo in jazz band! It's only eight measures long, but I'm really exited (it's not like a thing where everybody gets individual solos, I'm one out of two people in the band)!

Mom thought it would be a good idea to try to get rid of the grey in her hair at home using Miss Clairol Nice'n Easy...twice. So here is the list of some captions for her picture. Any others?

Whose Hair is it Anyway?

Laina
This is Laina but I am writing on Maggie's account. We were looking at old posts on Whoa!Mesdag and we thought Eli might want to read this . . . (it is posted by Auntie Anna, when Abby and Eli were young)
I know I've said Eli is funny, but today he was so deliberately a pill. Abby started yelling at him in the back seat while we were driving to a playdate, "Eli! Wake up, Eli!" & was all worried about him sleeping since it was early & we were going to play. I glanced back at him & that boy had his eyes closed & a smile on his face & was pretending to sleep & was making his sister nuts on purpose! He even did the take-big-breaths-in-&-out-with-eyes-closed pretend sleep thing. All to make Abby nuts.

Good news and bad news:
Humphrey died. That's bad news, for all of you black-hearted thieves that think that's good. Good news: the deans upstairs and my family got new hamsters! I got a male hamster, his name is Bear. He is HUGE! And brown, a perfect alaskan bear. The deans got a girl, named Petunia Rose, but call her Rosie. She looks like Humphrey but with white specks. She is so cute! Abby, you'd love both of them!
