We found one wooly bear, three grasshoppers, and we've seen ten grasshoppers total.  We picked lots of fruits and vegetables.  I also found a neat feather that could be from a woodpecker.

I got in the dual immersion, and Caden got in this teacher's class who let's his students call him Clay, his first name. No Mr. nor nothin'. Unfortunately, my teacher wasn't as awesome, and more strict, but Mom says that is because she is new and most teachers are meaner the first week or so. My teacher's name is Nelly Patiño, and she is from Ecuador, with one brother and eight sisters. Nine counting her. So ten children. She also taught in Ecuador then went here and taught in the new classroom in my school. Each year the dual immersion gets a new teacher, and my teacher was the new second grade one.

Also, my uncle's friend Itzi was e-mailing us at 2:53 a.m.! That is what time it was in Spain, and yet she hadn't gone to bed!

First day of school

It's the first day of school and Caden has a burn on his ankle and a broken toe. So we can't walk with our friends in the neighborhood. I asked if i could by myself but mom wanted to take me to my first day of school. And even my dad can't take us. Anyway, when is your guys' first day of school? (Mine's today, you should know. Oops. Caden's, too:)

I hope this school year will be better than the last.
