Rattlesnake!!

This is a rattlesnake rattle that I found. Well, I really found a dead rattlesnake and then I told my dad and he cut off the rattle. Isn't it cool?? When you shake it, it rattles.

Caden and Laina were at our house!  We went swimming at the least 2 times.  I also caught a lizard when they were here and I named it Cadel.  it was maybe an inch long!!!!!!!!!!

I have a photo of Emmett holding Amber, the best hunter in Oregon!  Opa checked all the places he had found mouse droppings last spring before we got her and there was none.  Amber has done her job well, I think she should go to Alaska and live in Uncle Alec's garage.

Caden also broke his toe. He was trying to kick a soccer ball, but missed the soccer ball and hit the foot of the sofa. He was crawling later that day.

Yesterday I broke my toe. I was running up the stairs and I tripped and fell and bent my toe so hard that it broke! My toe hardly hurts at all when it's still, but when whenever I move it it hurts really bad. This morning we went to urgent care and they took an x-ray and said it was definitely broken. Then they gave me a weird boot to keep my toe from bending. In a couple of days I'll have to go to a person that will tell me if I need a real cast or not. Here's a picture:

     Yesterday my mom and I took Cory to the vet because the end of her tail was black and hard. The veterinarian said that it was because she was bitten by her siblings at the tip of her tail when she was really young, and so now because the blood couldn't go all the way through to the end of her tail so that bit was trying to fall off. He took some scissors and cut the end off. It wasn't even bleeding because he only cut the dead part. Coriander didn't even look like she noticed.  But what was really funny was when we got there he tried to listen to her heartbeat with a tiny stethoscope but couldn't and so he got fancy weird magnifying glasses (eye glasses) and stared at her to try and see the heartbeat.
