I've read Matilda!

I just finished the book Matilda, by Ronald Dhal, and I think you guys should read it. Anyway, tomorrow Maggie, Evelyn, Finley Auntie Erin and Uncle Josh are leaving back to Arizona because right now we are in San Diego and in a hotel. Me, Auntie Robyn, and Caden are leaving tuesday morning.
Today we went to se tide pools but they are not so cool as the ones in Alaska, I guess. But, on the bright side, we got dow low, which are like little balls made of mochi and boiled in hot water until they float, and then you put them in a bowl with shredded coconut and chopped peanuts. Oh, I almost forgot something! We also sprinkle a little sugar on them.

It tastes so yummy.

me and kai  made forts  with lots of blankets  kai's  house was blue and
sadly my mine was pink but  it was better than kai's house  kai literally cried because he coudent

I went to two Thanksgivings! One at Moeki's house and one at my other grandmother's house in Whidbey just yesterday! When I was on the ferry to get to Whidbey (Island) there were two pods of Orcas jumping around in the water! There are only three pods resident to Washington! (P.S. Orcas are the state marine mammal, incredibly intelligent, and not whales even though they are sometimes known as "Killer Whales", they are dolphins) Hazel has been drawing picture after picture of them. Here are some pictures of them. (They were actually jumping out of the water, but my dad didn't have his camera right then.

Guess what! I'm at Moeki's house! Abby, Eli, Caden, and Laina are playing with Harvey. I am going to go now, I want to play with Harvey too.  hazel

I just got back from Hawaii on Saturday. Opa drove us home from Portland, and it was about seven p.m. when we arrived at my house in wilsonville.

They have been teaching me German in class, and here is a video of Hazel saying a sentence I taught her, my favorite color is light pink, or mine leevlings farba ist hel rosa.

At the Veteran's Day party Hazel was talking about I was in the choir, so I sang "This land is your land", "God bless the U.S.A", the marine song, the air force song, and "On Veteran's day". I was standing up for the whole time (30 min.). At the very end I just passed out! I fainted in front of the whole school and extra people (the veterans)! And before that all the teachers were saying that that assembly was the biggest and most important of the year! I had a huge ache in my gut, and then I couldn't see well, and then I couldn't see at all! And then I was sliding down the stairs running in to at least 15 people!

Hi! after school today I went straight to the dentist. I got a balloon and some stuff. It was not fun. After the dentist we went to Eli's soccer party. And after that we went back home. At school today I sang for the army, for veterans day. The reason I did it today was because I have no school tomorrow either.                                                      Hazel weber
